As promised, right in time for their fiesta, we completed and inaugurated a concrete Footbridge in the mountain barangay of San Roque.
Previously, residents from the mountains of Purok Kawasan II in San Roque and Sitio Maylao in Brgy. Lataban had to cross a river to get to school, work, and to reach the town center. During heavy rains where the water would rise waist-deep, they could not cross at all, or would cross at great risk. Now, families, seniors, school children have a safe and secure bridge that gives them direct access.

Per the residents I spoke to there, mas sadyâ sad gyud kuno ang pamista gahapon kay dilî naman sila mabasâ sa sapa ug walâ nama'y peligro ang latayan. #hellolechon
