After our turnover of a school building to Brgy. Jubay the other day, we inaugurated and turned over a concreted road to Sitio Urban, Brgy. San Vicente.
Where the residents here before had to traverse an unpaved road, they can now travel to school, work, and back home to their families safely and conveniently.

This morning, I inspected on the progress of our construction of the Capulay Road in Brgy. Tayud.
While there are still pending matters related to the stalled National Highway expansion perpendicular to this road, we expect that our local government's completion of this road in a few weeks will ease travel for thousands of Liloanons and Cebuanos plying this route daily.

I inspected the SUBA BRIDGE Construction today and am happy to announce that the Bridge will finally be OPEN FOR PUBLIC USE beginning Monday, 30 October 2017.
Per DPWH, the Bridge will be for LIGHT VEHICLES ONLY while they put in the finishing touches until end of December this year (which is the end date of the project). During this time, vehicles with 6-wheels and above are strictly prohibited.
I thank the DPWH and DUROS and their personnel for their tireless work and for making good on their commitment to my request last July to finish the bridge by October in anticipation of the upcoming holidays.
