CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu Provincial Police Office has awarded the police station in Liloan as number one in Cebu province.
The recognition is in line with President Rodrigo Duterte’s “Project Double” for most number of illegal drug personalities arrested from July 1 to August 31, 2016.
The award was given on September 6, 2016 by CPPO Director Jose B. Macanas at the CPPO headquarters.
“The award is dedicated to the men and women of Liloan Police Station and to the local government officials of Liloan for their unrelenting support,” said the town’s police chief, Police Chief Insp. Franco Oriol.
Liloan Mayor Christina Frasco thanked and congratulated Oriol and the men and women of the Liloan Police Station with whom the municipal government has been working closely to ensure peace and order programs have been implemented.
Frasco also thanked former town’s police chief, Senior Insp. Ramil Morpos.
“This award further confirms our unwavering commitment to ensure the peace and progress of Liloan, and to support President Duterte's programs against illegal drugs and criminality,” Frasco said. (FREEMAN)
