ATM: Site visit sa CTU Liloan with Cong. Duke Frasco

 

   

     

The establishment of the Liloan CTU began with the Liloan CTU Bill, which was principally authored and introduced by Congressman Duke Frasco during his first term as Representative of Cebu’s 5th District. Through his hard work and dedication, the bill was successfully passed in both the House of Representatives and the Senate and was signed into law on April 27, 2022, as Republic Act No. 11751. This is a landmark achievement for Liloan and the entire 5th District, offering immense opportunities for its youth.

In partnership with the Liloan LGU, led by Mayor Aljew Frasco, which owns the property where the campus is located, the Cebu Technological University (CTU) Liloan Campus is set to become one of the largest university campuses in Cebu Province. Once completed, it will feature two multi-story academic buildings, a 6,000-seat arena and auditorium, and a state-of-the-art sports complex with a grandstand and oval. These new assets will not only provide world-class educational facilities but also significantly increase the Municipality of Liloan’s overall net worth. To date, Congressman Duke Frasco has secured over ₱500 MILLION in funding for its construction, with additional allocations planned for 2025 and the coming years to ensure its full and timely completion.

 

This milestone reflects Cong. Duke Frasco’s unwavering commitment to providing quality, accessible education for the youth of Liloan and the 5th District. His vision is rooted in the belief that education is the key to uplifting lives and building a brighter future for all.
