On the morning of September 9, 2026, the Liloan Police Station, in coordination with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Liloan, Cebu, conducted the opening program of the three-day Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT) Training Enhancement at the Panphil B. Frasco Memorial Sports Complex, Barangay Poblacion, Liloan, Cebu.
The activity aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of BPAT members in maintaining peace and order and promoting community safety within their respective barangays.
During the opening program, Hon. Vice Mayor Margi Frasco delivered an inspirational message to the participants, emphasizing the vital role of BPAT members in maintaining peace, order, and security in the community. Also present during the activity was Hon. Cedric Cañete, Chairman of the Peace and Order Committee, who showed his support for the training and its objectives.
The activity underscores the strong partnership between the Liloan Police Station and the LGU of Liloan in strengthening community-based peacekeeping efforts.
