The Suba Bridge is more than just an alternative route to Cebu City. It is a gateway to our past, a silent witness to generations of Liloanons who have crossed its span, and a symbol of the journey that has shaped who we are today.
Mayor Aljew Frasco shares his sentiment while vividly remembering what it felt like to be a child here – running along these streets with friends, and with fearless, carefree hearts, jumping off this very bridge into the waters below. Those were the days of pure joy and boundless courage, and this bridge was part of that story.
Let us all work together to protect and preserve the Suba Bridge, for it is now part of our heritage and pride as Liloanons. Asking everyone to please help us take care of it. No vandalism. No damage. Let us treat it with the respect it deserves, so that it may remain bright, beautiful, and standing strong for generations to come.
