san fernando

In 1847, the San Fernando Rey Parish was built under Father Vicente Dorocel as its first parish priest. Located just across the Municipal Plaza, San Fernando El Rey Parish is one of the oldest standing heritage structures in Liloan which has become an attraction to tourists because of its built, history, and structure. It is the only church in the Philippines that faces the mountains to the West, whereas most churches face the sea to the East.
