Built in 1857 by the Americans, the Bagacay Point Lighthouse has not only become a landmark for the Municipality of Liloan but a National Heritage Structure of the Philippines as well. Standing proudly over a cliff in Barangay Catarman, the coral stone lighthouse has withstood the passing of 10 decades and the various seasons that came with the years, including the war.
